Hello friends,

Today we know about the trip to MDU for transcript i.e. how to reach, what is the procedure for transcript in MDU, Different formats of Transcripts for different courses. You may also download the various formats for different courses from the below links.

About MDU:-

Maharshi Dayanand University is very famous university of haryana state which is accredited ‘A’ grade by the NAAC. This university was established in 1975. This university was come under UGC in 1983.

University Working Days:- Monday to Friday (Every Saturday & Sunday is Holiday)

University Opening Time:- 9:00 AM

Close Time :- 05:00 PM

Entry Time For Visitors:- 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM

Lunch Time:- 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM

Entry Time After Lunch: 02:30 to 05:00 PM

Time for Transcript: 10 to 15 Days

Fees Counter Timings: 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM & 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM

Documents required for Transcript: –

1. An application directed to “Assistant Registrar R-I, R-II, R-III, R-IV.”
2. Original documents i.e. All DMC’s and Degree (for showing only).
3. A photocopy set (All DMC’s & Degree) of all documents.
4. Soft copy of transcript format in pen drive. (Recently this is not accepted by MDU from the students)
5. Fee receipt.
6. For fee receipt, Cash Counter is available out side the DDE Building in Front of Examination Wing Building.
7. For transcript format instruction you read “Transcript Format Instruction” below.
8. You can get the MDU transcript format/formats as per your Branch which is available downside. Branch abbreviation is like – if your branch is B.Tech (Electrical Engg.) then abbreviation for that in download section is B.Tech EE. for B.Tech (Electronics & Comm. Engg.) – B.Tech ECE. And you get different types of format for this branch you may download as per your matching subjects in DMC’s and change according to your documents.
9. Check your all documents that all have correct names of you, your father and mother, branch name etc.
10. If there is a problem with your documents then first discuss your problem with the dealing person before taking the fee receipt from the cash counter.

When you have all these above document, you reach at MDU,  firstly take Fee Receipt according to your semesters from the cash counter and reach at dealing table and give all these things to the dealing person with soft copy of transcript format. Please write your home address on the application with mobile no. & E-mail ID so the dealing will send your transcript at your home through post.

Requirement of Transcript or Why transcript is required:-

An University transcript is required for the purpose of Immigration, for PR, want to study in foreign universities or you want VISA of any country you must required Transcript from your University in which you have studied.

How to reach Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU):-

Maharshi Dayanand University is situated near Delhi bypass circle. University Gate No. – 1 is only 100 Mtr. far from Delhi bypass. After you reached at gate no. – 1 you go to the Examination Wing (Pariksha Sadan) which is situated Right side from the Gate no. – 1 and Left side from the Gate No. – 2. Out side the main gate of Examination wing, you may see the boards on which courses dealing branch details is showing. Result branch I, III & IV is on 1st floor of Priksha Sadan and Result branch II is at 2nd floor of Priksha Sadan. You see your branch in which your course is dealing and you proceed for the concerned branch. In branch you may enquire that which set is dealing your college or district. After that you go on the dealing table and tell your requirements to the dealing person and give following things to dealing person.

1. Soft copy in pen drive (Recently No need) as well as hard copy of Transcript format as per your pass out session.
2. Fee Receipt per Transcript.
3. All Original documents.
4. A photocopy set of all documents (All DMC’s & Degree).
5. Laptop and Pen drive (If you have)

Some Instruction regarding Transcript Format:-

There are some instruction given below. Please read it carefully:

1. Abbreviation for the branches in download link is given below. You may search your branch from there.
2. First of all you may please check you have got correct format.
3. For B.Tech only, if you have passed your course in or before Dec. 2011 then you must add university scaling system in your transcript format which is given below if not available in your transcript format.
4. For B.Tech only, if you have passed your course after Dec. 2011 then you have not needed to add this scaling.
5. After getting the correct transcript format please enter your personal detail at up side of the format. After that enter your Roll No’s and session from your Mark sheets. Your session for every semester is available at the downside of Branch name in your DMC’s.
6. After filling these thing you fill your marks in transcript format.
7. 100% accuracy will be required in transcript format so you please double check all things like roll no’s, sessions, marks, subject codes, subject names etc.
