Sea Beaches in India
India is surrounded by water on the three sides. India offers vast peninsular coastline with an amazing array of beaches. Both on the West coast and the East coast of India has vast Arabian Sea shores and the Bay of Bengal respectively. Beaches of the both east coast and west coast are different in formation.
On the west coastline there are miles of sandy beaches. These beaches are broken into attractive bays by rocky peninsula. On this west coast the popular beaches are the beaches of Goa and Kovalam at Kerala.
On the eastern coast the beaches are less well developed than the west coast. Here the best known beaches are the beaches of Mahabalipuram and one small yet superb beach in Orissa is called as Gopalpur-on-Sea.

Chennai Beaches
Kanyakumari – Here all the three oceans the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean meets that’s makes it different from other beaches.
Marina Beach – This is the second longest beach in the world.
Mahabalipuram – Another stunning beach on the bank of Bay of Bengal that attracts many visitors from India and abroad as well.
Mumbai Beaches
Mumbai is full of beautiful beaches . The list starts from Chowpatty, Juhu Beach, Arangal Beach, Marve Beach, Manori Beach to Gorai Beach, Nirmal Beach, Kelwa Beach, Arnala Beach, Bordi Beach, Alibag Beach, etc. The Juhu beach and the Chowpatty beach are more popular among tourists. Chowpatty is a sandy beach while Juhu is more crowded one.
