Munnar is the famous hill station which comes under Iddukki district of Kerala state of India. Millions of tourists comes every year to this place. Munnar is like  heaven on the earth. This is very pleasant place for tourists because it is free from pollution and crowd. The 12000 Hectare beautiful tea plantation is spread over, which is the main center of attraction of this place. In most of the South India the supply of tea is from these plantation. The tea museum is also available here for the knowledge/ information about tea plantation. You can also see the rare Nilgiri Goat in Eravikulam National Park.

How to reach Munnar:-

By Air:- The nearest airport for the Munnar is Cochin International Airport which is about 130 Km far from munnar and well connected with the all major Airports.  You may go through taxi for munnar from Cochin which rent is around 3000 Rs. to 4000 Rs. Madurai is also second nearest airport for Munnar which is about 160 Km from Madurai. From munnar you may go through bus, taxi or self drive cars.

By Rail:- The nearest railway junction for madurai is Ernakulam Junction which is well connected with all the major cities of India. Its distance from ernakulam to munnar is about 127 Km.

By Road:- National Highway 49 is connect to the munnar and cochin each other. Munnar is also connected with the Coimbator to Pollachi and Udumalaipatai road of Tamilnadu state. KSRTC or personal buses are connect the munnar with the other states. Regular & Timely KSRTC buses are available for the different locations from munnar or munnar to other places.
